Through its nation-wide Dealer network, Toyota Financial Services offers a wide range of finance options and services. Toyota Financial Services is a division of Toyota Finance Australia Limited.

TFS offers products for personal or business customers, for a single vehicle or for a large fleet. In addition to providing financial services for both new and late model used vehicles, Toyota Financial Services also offers a comprehensive selection of vehicle insurance and extended warranty products. RHE have been engaged to design and develop an integrated Business Origination System (BOS), allowing TFS to fulfil its financial products and services through its Dealer Network through a single interface. RHE has been engaged to work closely with TFS and take responsibility for the Development and Roll-out of the BOS

In relation to the BOS project, TFS has goals that are:

Business related:

• Have a single Business Origination ‘Point of Entry’ to TFS for multiple channels
• Deliver a high-quality and flexible Finance Business Origination Solution to replace the existing solution
• Deliver a high-quality and flexible Insurance Business Origination Solution to replace an existing third party solution
• Create an integrated financial and insurance products Business Origination capability
• Have a flexible and configurable product structure to facilitate ease of deploying more products
• Centralise and streamline Product Business Rules management and make it transparent to both Business and IT

Technology related:

• To replace existing third party / in-house technology systems with a single Business Origination solution
• To ‘harvest’ re-usable functionality from existing systems wherever possible
• To integrate to NexGen application platform

The technology being used to implement the BOS is Microsoft .NET and Idiom.
