ING Direct conducted an internal Enterprise Architecture Review project to produce a 3 year strategic plan for technology and infrastructure investment 2005- 2008, and then began looking for an enterprise modelling tool to assist in maintaining and governing the enterprise architecture and to enable the EA team to provide rapid response answers to many critical business questions which the Bank may face. RHE provided an initial PoC project, the results from which showed the validity and effectiveness of Metis by Troux® which was subsequently purchased and deployed with RHE's help. The implementation exercise followed the RHE Enterprise Architecture Approach (EAA), with an early goal to fully understand and close any gaps in ING Direct's business continuity plan.
