| National Transport Insurance (NTI) is Australia's leading truck insurance company. NTI has contracted RHE & Associates as its partner to design, develop and implement the systems to fully replace its core line-of-business General Insurance software in a program of work called Project Focus. This project is being managed in three time-boxed phases, and a collection of sub-projects. The project commenced in April 2005 with the first phase of this system going live on 18 December 2005.
Phase 1 provides streamlined and automated systems for the acquisition and confirmation of new business through its broker network via the Telstra Sunrise Exchange. The 2006 work program will deliver claims, policy and client management. At the end of this work progam NTI's legacy systems will be decommissioned. The application software is Java based and maes extnesive use of the Iiom Decision Server to provide configurability and maintainability by the client.
